Ashley Tisdale Really shuns scary movies!

Ashley Tisdale is too afraid to watch horror movies since she began living alone.

The 'High School Musical' star can no longer enjoy her favorite creepy films because they leave her unable to sleep.

The 24-year-old actress explained: "I can't watch scary movies right now, because living on my own, it kind of freaks me out.

"I tend to just watch comedies. As an actress you think I would understand but I have a big imagination and it gets scary."

Ashley is not the only star who is terrified of scary movies. Cameron Diaz - who stars in upcoming psychological thriller 'The Box' - recently revealed she can't even watch the shorts of frightening films.

The 36-year-old actress said: "You know what terrifies me? Trailers to horror movies!

"I kind of want to look, but I'm always afraid that I'm going to look too long and see the one image that I'm not going to be able to get out of my head for at least a week every night before I'm going to bed."

Usher's wife 'faithful and loving' during marriage

A lawyer who's opposed rapper T.I. and boxer Evander Holyfield in child-support cases is representing R&B singer Usher's wife in their split.
Usher filed for divorce on Friday from Tameka Foster Raymond after less than two years of marriage. The singer whose real name is Usher Raymond IV has two sons with Foster Raymond.

Sports and entertainment family lawyer Randy Kessler said Monday his 38-year-old was a "faithful wife and loving mother." He declined to comment on the singer's conduct during the marriage.
The singer wed his former stylist in a glitzy ceremony in August 2007.
Kessler also represented rapper Mack 10 in his divorce from R&B singer T-Boz of TLC.

Details about Usher:
After being spotted by a La Face record executive at a talent show in his hometown of Atlanta, it took no time for Usher Raymond's career to take off. The 14-year-old auditioned for La Face co-founder L.A. Reid, who signed the gospel choir boy to a recording contract. Raymond was introduced to the world simply as "Usher," and released his debut album of the same name in 1994, which featured co-executive producer Sean "Puffy" Combs. The first single, "Think of You," gained Usher notoriety and reached gold status. From that initial exposure, Usher was approached to do other projects. In 1995, he recorded a national holiday jingle for Coca-Cola. He also joined several top male R&B vocalists to form Black Men United for the single "You Will Know," featured on the Jason's Lyric soundtrack. He also teamed with teen singing sensation Monica for a duet remake of Latimore's "Let's Straighten It Out."
After graduating from high school, Usher released his sophomore album, My Way, in 1997. In an attempt to display his maturity and songwriting abilities, Usher co-wrote six of the nine songs and enlisted the help of producers Jermaine Dupri, Babyface, and, again, Combs. The album's first single, "You Make Me Wanna," re-established Usher as one of R&B's hottest artists, and also made him a crossover sensation; it topped the R&B charts for 11 weeks, hit number two pop, and eventually went double platinum. Both of the follow-up singles, "Nice & Slow" and "My Way," also went platinum; the former stayed at number one on the R&B charts for eight weeks and became his first number one pop single. In the meantime, Usher launched an acting career, appearing in the 1998 horror spoof The Faculty and the 1999 urban high-school drama Light It Up.
To tide fans over, he issued a concert recording titled simply Live in 1999. Usher returned with his third proper album, All About U, toward the end of 2000. His third album, 8701 (2001), moved him from a teen pop star to a sultry R&B singer. In early 2004, Arista released the single "Yeah!" Produced by Lil Jon and guesting Ludacris, the addictive, lightly crunk cut fast became a club and radio favorite. By the time the Usher full-length Confessions dropped later that March, "Yeah!" had hit the top of the Billboard charts. The album itself was Usher's most mature work to date and won the Grammy for Best Contemporary R&B Album in 2004 while "Yeah!" took home the best rapped/sung collaboration award. He starred in the 2005 flop In the Mix and went back to music with 2008's Here I Stand. Lynda Lane, All Music Guide. (source: mtv.com)

Chastity Bono is transitioning from female to male

Chastity Bono, the daughter of Sonny and Cher, is in the early stages of a gender change. Chastity is undergoing treatment to become a man.

Bono, who is a civil rights advocate, journalist, author and musician, began the process earlier this year, publicist Howard Bragman told KTLA. She is 40 years old.

"Yes, it's true. After many years of consideration, Chastity has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity," Bragman said.

"He is proud of his decision and grateful for the support and respect that has already been shown by his loved ones. It is Chaz's hope that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue, just as his 'coming out' did nearly 20 years ago.

We ask that the media respect Chaz's privacy during this long process as he will not be doing any interviews at this time."

No word on Cher's reaction to Chastity's decision.

Bono, the child of legendary entertainers Sonny and Cher, began the process earlier this year, shortly after his 40th birthday.

“Yes, it’s true — Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity,” confirmed Bono’s publicist, Howard Bragman.

“He is proud of his decision and grateful for the support and respect that has already been shown by his loved ones. It is Chaz’s hope that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue, just as his ‘coming out’ did nearly 20 years ago.

We ask that the media respect Chaz’s privacy during this long process as he will not be doing any interviews at this time.”

Everyone described transitioning to their desired gender as finally living their lives in a way that felt authentic; like they were finally happy and being honest with themselves. Supposedly it’s an incredibly powerful and challenging time. It seems like Chaz has a lot of supportive people around him – and while the next several years will have lots of challenges most of us never face, it’ll probably be the best time of his life.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are not breaking up?

Even though the National Enquirer has reported that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have definitely split, the couple's rep has issued a statement saying that it's not true. Which is pretty hard to believe, considering that the National Enquirer website has a fancy flashing "Breaking News" sign tied to their article about the split.
So who should we believe? The couple that always looks ridiculously happy and glowing when they're together, or the tabloid that's notorious for making stuff up? It's a real toss-up.
A rep for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have hit back at the rumor that Pitt and Jolie plan on splitting by saying simply, "not true." Not a lot of grey area there.

This contradicts the scoop that an alleged "insider" gave the National Enquirer. The unknown source had said, "They will make it official. It looks like Brad will be shooting two movies in California and in the Amazon, while Angelina is retreating to their French chateau with the rest of the family. It's an official split." Well, sounds like this is officially made-up.
The source added, "Brad and Angelina will make appearances together from time to time, and he'll meet up with the kids when he can. But make no mistake, this is a major split."

How did the source that spoke to the National Enquirer explain how incredibly in love Pitt and Jolie looked together while in Cannes? It was all a show! The source swears that the couple only looked in love for the media, but as soon as nobody was paying attention, they were really mean to each other.
Right. We totally buy it. We wonder how long the Enquirer will stand by its story...as long as they keep playing up the angle that Brad and Angelina are only pretending to be in love, there's no telling how long they can keep this up!
